We are happy to exchange items which are received in a faulty condition, but must ensure these are in brand new condition and unworn, with tags. Please contact us to arrange an exchange. Note we will not accept the item for exchange if the above conditions aren't met.

"Petite" is a term literally derived from the French word for "small". In fashion, it is generally used to denote clothing for women with a height of 5'3 / 163cm or less. It is not, as some may think, a term relating to how skinny or slender a figure is - Petite clothing ranges in sizes just as Regular clothing does, with the Piccoli ranges going from UK sizes 6-12.

The definition of Petite is height based, and so naturally Petite clothes are shorter. But as any Petite who has ever hemmed her jeans or shortened the sleeves of her blazer has soon realised, it is not just about the height.

Petites, in general, share other attributes besides their height. Slimmer shoulders, for instance, as a result of the smaller frame. Likewise, adjustments have to be made to the height of armholes, knee or elbow placements, and the height of our waist in the torso. It is not simply a matter of chopping off a couple of inches from the garment, it is a matter of re-designing it entirely for a smaller frame.

Certainly. Long coats are one of the most flattering styles for Petites. Especially structured, belted coats. These keep your proportions in check, slimming your frame. Our Campinas coat is a super-long structured coat designed to lengthen and showcase your smaller frame. It is made in one plain block colour, to create a long vertical line of sight, whilst the slanted pockets, long lapels, slim shoulders, shorter sleeves and side slits are all strategically added to flatter and lenghten. When worn closed, the waist belt (at the correct Petite waist height) helps give your body shape, slimming and elongating you.

There is oversized, and then there is playing-dress-up-in-mom's-closet oversized. We think the former will flatter you. And yes, you can. Our Butantã blazer is designed to be a Petite oversized. With slim shoulders, shorter sleeves and just the right length, this will look long and oversized without drowning you in fabric. The benefits of the oversized style, without the pitfalls. Remember to wear it belted if you opt for looser trousers (like the Pinheiros) or with a slimmer piece underneath, like our body-hugging Sé skirt or the Mooca mini.
